From 1st April 2017 the importer must now apply to HMRC for a Transfer of Residence BEFORE anything is shipped into the UK

When you have completed it the form HMRC will awarded you a Transfer of Residence authorisation number which is quoted to HMRC on import of the goods.
Without it all goods will be subject to duty & VAT.
